2) The Monte-farno Monastery. A beautifully landscaped monastery which houses a copy (taken from the original) of the image of the towel with which Jesus’ face was wiped along the walk to Calvary, along with other interesting artifacts. There is a small trail that leads to the edge of a cliff with the most beautiful view of the surrounding areas. And I do mean beautiful. Many species of birds are found on this trail if you are interested in engaging in a spot of birding.A pair of binoculars should definitely come in handy when visiting this city. Remember, one should not miss out on the finer details! -
To add a bit more detail, there was actually a closed up rock chapel which i thought was quite cool. the place is so deserted & they like it that way. So voices must be kept down.

ReplyDeleteI am a resident of that area.The picture here is not Monte Fano but National Seminary.Montefano is about another half kilometer from national seminary.Its not that large but as beautiful as National seminary
